Goa Congress Hosts ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ to Salute Indian Armed Forces

The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, under the leadership of President Amit Patkar, organized a patriotic march titled ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ to pay tribute to the courage and commitment of India’s Armed Forces.
Tribute March to Honour India’s Soldiers
The yatra commenced from the historic Congress House and concluded at the 2 Signal Training Centre, the Army Headquarters in Panjim. The event witnessed the participation of key leaders including South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes and MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira, alongside senior office bearers and party workers.

Solidarity Amid Rising Border Tensions
With the backdrop of escalating tensions with Pakistan, the Goa Congress emphasized unwavering support for the nation’s protectors.
“We stand with our soldiers who bravely guard our borders every day. Their sacrifice and service inspire us,” the party noted in an official statement.

The march featured patriotic chants, Indian flags, and citizens showing deep appreciation for the armed forces. The yatra aimed to foster a sense of national pride and public awareness about the dedication of India’s military personnel.
