South Goa District Hospital has become a Referral Hospital. Almost 15000 Patients are referred to GMC and Private Hospitals by SGDH. Where is the full fledged ICU? Where is the Neuro Surgery Unit? Where is the Cath Lab promised by the Government in the last three Budgets? questioned Michelle Rebelo.

South Goa District Hospital was a visionary Project of the Congress Government. Construction of the Hospital was almost 70 percent complete in 2012, but the BJP Government took eight years to complete the hospital. Defector Margao MLA Digambar Kamat will be the best person to substantiate my claim, said Michelle Rebelo.
