Recently  Motorola unveiled the Edge 50 Pro in India. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to launch another device, which may be the Edge 50 Ultra.

According to a recent post by Motorola’s Global account on X, the new phone will be launched on April 16. The post also suggests that the device will feature the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which includes support for on-device generative AI and advanced photography features.

For those wondering, some key differences between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is in terms of clock speed, graphics, networking and AI capabilities.

Going by a recent leak, the Edge 50 Ultra will most likely run on Android 14 out of the box and come with 12GB of RAM. If this is a rebranded version of the Motorola X50 Ultra, which will soon be launched in China, we might see a 6.7-inch 144Hz pOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
