‘…IS INDOCO & ENCUBE HAD NOTIFIED VACANCIES ON EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE PORTAL?’

Labour & Employment Minister Atanasio alias Babush Monserrate must clarify if Vacancies advertised in Maharashtra by Indoco and Encube Ethicals for their Goa Plants were notified by the two Companies on Portal of Goa Employment Exchange and whether the Government had informed the Local Youths about the same, demanded Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
Reacting to the Controversy of Interviews scheduled in Maharashtra by two Pharma Companies having their Plants in Goa, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao released a Screenshot of the Government of Goa Portal wherein Encube Ethicals showed “No Vacancies available”.
It is mandatory for the Private Firms and Companies to notify the Vacancies on the Portal of Employment Exchange. Today when I checked on the Government Portal, Encube Ethicals shows No Vacancies Exits, while there is no clarity on the exact number of Vacancies and Posts available with Indoco, stated Yuri Alemao.
It has once again come to the fore that BJP Government in Goa has absolutely no control on the Recruitment process of the Private Companies operating in Goa. There is no mechanism in place to control the Rampant Violation of Rules by various Companies while recruiting Employees, claimed Yuri Alemao.
I demand that the Labour & Employment Minister Atanasio alias Babush Monserrate must order a High Level Inquiry on all the Recruitments done by the Private Companies in last few years and place the report in the upcoming Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. Let everyone know the exact Employment Scenario in the Private Sector in Goa, said Yuri Alemao.
The Government has time and again tried to mislead the MLAs and Goans by giving false and incorrect replies and information in the Goa Legislative Assembly. The much hyped Mega Job Fair turned out to be a Huge Failure. Government has no mechanism to check the Goans employed in the Private Sector, stated Yuri Alemao.
I am raising the issue of Unemployment right from the first Session of the Eighth Goa Legislative Assembly. Despite consistent demands made by the Opposition to conduct a Study to collect Data of the Goans recruited in Private Companies, BJP Government has deliberately not taken any steps to gather the Data with an ulterior motive of giving backdoor entry to non-Goans, charged Yuri Alemao.
