Win The Heart With Cath Lab at HOSPICIO : Prabhav

On the occasion of World Heart Day, Madganvcho Awaaz and Youth Leader Prabhav Naik urged the Government of Goa to demonstrate its commitment to the health and well-being of Goans by immediately commissioning a Cath Lab at the Hospicio South Goa District Hospital.
Prabhav Naik highlighted that the absence of such a critical facility in South Goa has already claimed many precious lives. Patients suffering from heart attacks and cardiac emergencies are compelled to travel long distances to GMC at Bambolim or to private hospitals. “This delay often proves fatal, denying citizens timely treatment that could have been easily provided closer to home,” he said.
Reiterating the urgency, Prabhav Naik stressed that timely cardiac care is not a privilege but a fundamental right of every citizen. A fully functional Cath Lab at Hospicio would not only save countless lives but also ease the emotional and financial burden on families, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare.
“Winning the hearts of Goans does not happen through speeches or promises, but through concrete action that directly impacts lives. Establishing this vital facility will be the true test of the Government’s sincerity in fulfilling its healthcare commitments,” Prabhav Naik asserted.
On this symbolic day, Madganvcho Awaaz and Prabhav Naik once again appealed to the Government: act without delay, put people before politics, and urgently establish a Cath Lab at Hospicio. “The people of South Goa deserve nothing less,” Prabhav Naik concluded.
