United Breweries Launches Amstel Grande in Goa

PANAJI :
United Breweries Limited (UBL), the country’s largest beer manufacturer and part of the HEINEKEN Company, has introduced its premium beer, Amstel Grande, to the Goan market. The launch marks an expansion of UBL’s premium portfolio, blending the company’s brewing expertise with Amstel’s 150-year heritage.
Brewed using select barley, Dutch yeast, and carefully chosen hops, Amstel Grande is slow-brewed and matured longer to deliver a smooth, rich taste. With no added sugar, the brew has undergone extensive testing in global and Indian markets, earning high consumer ratings.
“After an overwhelming response in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka, we are excited to introduce Amstel Grande to Goa, a market known for its openness to international and premium products,” said Vikram Bahl, Chief Marketing Officer, UBL. “We are confident it will become the brew of choice here.”
First brewed in Amsterdam in 1870, Amstel is now available in over 100 countries. The India launch of Amstel Grande caters to rising demand for premium strong beer with international quality, locally brewed. The packaging features illustrations of Dutch architecture and canals, reflecting its Amsterdam origins.
Amstel Grande is priced at ₹80 for a 330 ml bottle, ₹115 for a 500 ml can, and ₹150 for a 650 ml bottle, and is available at leading outlets across Goa.
