It is shocking that even after the Supreme Court of India’s verdict stating that the Electoral Bonds are “Unconstitutional”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tried to justify them. Prime Minister’s remarks are nothing but Contempt of Court and Disrespect of Constitution, charged Congress South Goa Candidate Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

I demand that PM Narendra Modi must explain to the People how some Companies donated to the BJP through Electoral Bonds immediately after they came on the radar of various Probe Agencies like CBI, IT and ED, questioned Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments during an interview have once again brought to the fore Pro-Capitalists and Anti-Poor mindset of the BJP, claimed Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

If BJP wanted to maintain transparency, why the Identity of Donors was kept anonymous? Why PM Narendra Modi feared of revealing names of those Companies & Individuals who donated huge funds only to BJP? questioned Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

State Bank of India which is considered to be the Lead Bank in India also lied to Supreme Court on submission of Electoral Bond Data. They claimed earlier that it will need time till June end to submit the data. After Supreme Court refused to accept their justification, the same data was uploaded in three days, pointed Capt. Viriato Fernandes.

People of India have realised the Chicanery of Modi controlled BJP. I am sure that the dictatorial regime will end soon . Goa will contribute with two seats to form INDIA Government, said Capt. Viriato Fernandes.
