Padma Awards 2025: Full list of Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awardees

The Padma Awards are one of India’s highest civilian honours, announced annually on the eve of Republic Day.
The awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of higher order) and Padma Shri (distinguished service).
The award seeks to recognize achievements in all fields of activity or disciplines involving an element of public service. The Padma Awards are conferred on the recommendations made by the Padma Awards Committee, which is constituted by the prime minister every year.
This year, the government has awarded 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri awards.
The President confers these awards at a ceremonial function held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, usually in March or April every year.
