Chennai: The Telugu supernatural fantasy thriller Jatadhara, presented by Zee Studios and produced by Prerna Arora, continued its steady performance at the box office on its second day. After opening to collections of ₹1.47 crore on Day 1, the film earned an estimated ₹1.10 crore on Day 2, taking its total to ₹2.57 crore.

The film’s sustained numbers are being attributed to strong word-of-mouth publicity and positive audience response. For a Telugu-origin film released simultaneously in Hindi, the performance is being viewed as encouraging. While the Hindi version has drawn attention in northern markets, Jatadhara has reportedly found a particularly strong connect with audiences in the Telugu states, where it is being hailed as a distinctive entry in the genre.

Headlined by Sudheer Babu, the film features Sonakshi Sinha in an intense, menacing role that has garnered praise for its departure from her usual screen persona. Jatadhara also includes Divya Khossla in a special appearance, alongside Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveen Neni, Rohit Pathak, Jhansi, Rajeev Kanakala, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.

Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, with Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora as co-producers, the film’s creative team includes Divya Vijay as Creative Producer and Bhavini Goswami as Supervising Producer.

Backed by Zee Music Co. for its sound design, Jatadhara blends mythology with modern storytelling and is positioned as a large-scale visual spectacle exploring themes of faith, destiny, and the eternal struggle between light and darkness.
