Ponda :
Our country is progressing due to the agriculture and industry sectors, and even today, youth are trending toward civil services. Young people in Goa used to express reluctance to join the civil services, but now that the situation has changed, efforts should be made to promote the positive aspects of a civil service career, asserted State Director General of Police Alok Kumar. He was speaking at a special lecture on ‘Career at Crossroads,’ organized by Parikrama Knowledge Terminus at Rajiv Kalamandir in Ponda on the occasion of the 6th Goa Academic Forum.

Yugank Nayak, President of Parikrama Knowledge, along with Prof. Ajit Parulekar, Prof. Anuradha Vakle, and others, were present. The significant presence of students from all over the state added to the occasion.

“If you want to achieve a higher goal, dream about it from childhood and work hard to make these dreams come true,” Alok Kumar appealed, encouraging every student to decide their future path in advance and strive toward it.

On this occasion, the ‘Ice Breaking’ initiative taken by Goan actor Rohit Khandekar received a good response. The program was welcomed and introduced by Yugank Nayak and moderated by Shalaka Desai and Urvashi Naik. During the various sessions held, dignitaries provided useful guidance to students on a range of subjects.
