Goa will host India’s first-ever Transmedia Conclave, Transcend Goa 2026, on January 15 and 16, 2026, at the Marquinez Palace in Panaji. The event is being organised by the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and Goa Future Proof, with support from the Government of Goa.

Envisioned as a future-facing platform by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, the conclave aims to bring together professionals from cinema, publishing, gaming, and artificial intelligence to explore new possibilities in cross-platform storytelling and the evolution of narratives beyond single formats.

The two-day event will focus on the development of Indian-origin transmedia intellectual properties (IPs), strategies for expanding cinema beyond traditional screens, and case studies showcasing how stories can successfully transition across books, films, games, and immersive digital platforms.

According to the organisers, the conclave seeks to promote homegrown content and encourage dialogue on positioning Indian stories for global audiences, while fostering collaboration across sectors shaping contemporary storytelling. The initiative is also intended to strengthen Goa’s presence in the global creative economy.

The speaker lineup includes Sajan Raj Kurup, Chairman of Creativeland Asia Group; producer Monisha Advani; filmmakers Raja Krishna Menon, Om Raut and Q; and industry professionals Afsar Zaidi and Caleb Franklin. Special presentations will be delivered by Vipul Agrawal, founder of an AI-driven content and production company; Vignesh Raja, co-founder of A.R. Rahman’s META project; and transmedia specialist Jean Pierre Magro, among others.

Harish Rao, organiser of Transcend Goa 2026, said the platform aims to reimagine how Indian stories are created, experienced, and scaled globally across cinema, literature, gaming, and emerging technologies.

Registrations for the conclave are now open at www.transcendgoa.com.
