Disaster Management Is Disaster : Amarnath Panjikar

Another incident exposes complete failure of Disaster Management Authority under corrupt BJP Government as Rescue Boat takes 3 hours to reach site where a body was found floating in Panjim. If this situation is for dead body recovery, we can only pray to God to keep us all safe, said Amarnath Panjikar, Congress Media Cell Chairman.
Reacting to the delay in arrival of Rescue Boat to recover the dead body found floating near Jetty in Panjim, Amarnath Panjikar slammed BJP Government for its failure to keep Disaster Management Authority well equipped.
BJP Government is just not bothered to ensure Safety and Security of Citizens. Their focus is only on organising Events for Mission Total Commission, charged Amarnath Panjikar.
Government has no proper equipments, manpower as well as expertise to conduct rescue operations. Fire Services still use Fire Tender Vehicles which were purchased by Congress Government almost 20 years back. Same is the story with Ambulances & Hearse Vans, pointed Amarnath Panjikar.
Congress Party has time and again raised the issue of ill equipped Disaster Management Cell in Goa. Unfortunately, Government just dont bother to make it fully funtional, said Amarnath Panjikar.
