Daivadnya Samaj Margao Holds 16th Blood Donation & Medical Camp

Daivadnya Samaj Margao, in association with the Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association (AGDBYA), successfully organised its 16th Blood Donation and Free Medical Check-up Camp on December 19, 2025.

The programme was inaugurated with a welcome address by Daivadnya Samaj Margao President Mr. Ramakant Raikar and AGDBYA President Mrs. Seema Rohit Vernekar. The chief guests for the occasion were Dr. Sudhir Shet, Director of Horizon & IJNHS Sunshine Hospitals, and Dr. Ravin Rego, Head of Hospicio Blood Bank.

More than 50 donors voluntarily donated blood, while several beneficiaries availed themselves of the free medical check-up facilities. Dr. Ravin Rego lauded both organisations for consistently organising such social initiatives over the past 15 years. Dr. Sudhir Shet, in his address, emphasized the growing importance of health insurance awareness among the public.

The programme was compered by Mr. Pawan Rangnekar. Mr. Kishor Rivonkar delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all donors, guests, medical staff, and volunteers for their valuable support in making the camp a success.
