Bank of Baroda wins five honours at IBA Banking Technology Awards

Mumbai :  Bank of Baroda has received five recognitions at the Indian Banks’ Association’s (IBA) 21st Annual Banking Technology Awards 2024-25, underscoring its focus on technology-led innovation.

The public sector lender emerged winner in four categories among large banks — Best AI & ML Adoption, Best Fintech & DPI Adoption, Best IT Risk Management, and Best Tech Talent. It also received a Special Mention in the Best Technology Bank category.

Dr Debadatta Chand, Managing Director and CEO, Bank of Baroda, said the awards reflect the bank’s continued emphasis on innovation, strong risk management practices, and building technology capabilities. “We will continue to invest in future-ready technologies to deliver a seamless and secure banking experience while creating long-term value for stakeholders,” he said.

The recognitions highlight the bank’s strategy of leveraging digital technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
