Godrej unveils 2026 air-conditioner portfolio; targets up to 40% growth
New Delhi: The Appliances Business of Godrej Enterprises Group on Tuesday announced its upgraded air-conditioner portfolio for 2026, with a focus on smart and energy-efficient cooling solutions, as temperatures begin to rise across the country.
The company said the new range includes split, cassette, tower and window air-conditioners, with capacities ranging from 1 tonne to 4 tonnes. The portfolio comprises both 3-star and 5-star rated models, with an emphasis on higher tonnage categories and smart-enabled products.
As part of its latest offering, the company introduced ‘Smart Sync Technology’, which it described as a first-of-its-kind feature in the domestic market. The technology enables Wi-Fi-enabled air-conditioners to connect with and control ceiling fans, allowing automated operation for enhanced user comfort.
The new range also includes Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled features such as energy monitoring, filter-cleaning alerts, scheduled operation and smart diagnostics.
The portfolio further highlights the company’s design-led approach, with models such as the Eon Magnus series available in multiple finishes, along with the Eon Nimbus and Eon Regalis variants.
Kamal Nandi, Business Head, Appliances Business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the company is targeting a growth of 30% to 40% during the summer season, despite a challenging year for the air-conditioner industry.
Sabyasachi Gupta, Product Group Head – Air Conditioners, said the company’s AI-powered models are designed to deliver both efficient cooling and energy savings, supported by features such as uniform air distribution and customised airflow.
The company added that its products come with a five-year comprehensive warranty and are available through authorised retail outlets and major e-commerce platforms across India.
