‘Remembering Patrao’ on Saturday, 1st November at Margao

Margao : Madganvcho Awaaz will organise a special memorial programme titled “Remembering Patrao” to pay tribute to former Chief Minister late Ravi Sitaram Naik, fondly remembered as the Champion of the Common Man, on  Saturday, 1st November 2025 at 5 p.m. at Imperial Hall, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Margao.


The organisers have spoken to the family members of former Chief Minister Ravi Sitaram Naik, who have given their consent and are expected to remain present for the memorial. Several of Ravi Naik’s  colleagues, including former Chief Ministers of Goa, the Deputy Chief Ministers, past and present elected representatives and other dignitaries, will attend the programme and pay their tributes to the veteran leader.


The memorial gathering aims to celebrate the life, values, and legacy of Ravi Naik, a leader who devoted his entire public life to the welfare of the people. Affectionately known as Patrao, he was admired across generations for his simplicity, strength, accessibility, and deep-rooted connection with the common man. His leadership was marked by humility and an unwavering commitment to public service.


Speaking about the memorial, Youth Leader Prabhav Naik said, “Bab Ravi Sitaram Naik was not just a political figure, but a people’s leader who lived and breathed Goa’s spirit. His compassion and service continue to inspire all of us to walk the path of public good.”

Madganvcho Awaaz has extended a humble appeal to all citizens to attend the memorial event and pay heartfelt tributes to the Leader of the Masses, whose vision and legacy continue to guide and inspire Goa’s people.
