Priyanka Gandhi Calls for Probe into Kerala IT Professional’s Death

New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has urged a proper investigation into the death of a Kerala IT professional, Anandu Aji, who reportedly alleged sexual abuse by members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
In a social media post before his death, Mr. Aji claimed he had been abused repeatedly and suggested that other boys in RSS camps could also be victims.
Ms. Gandhi said the RSS leadership should respond to the allegations and take action. “Sexual abuse of boys is as serious as that of girls. The silence around such crimes must end,” she said.
The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) also demanded that those responsible and the leaders of the RSS units involved be held accountable.
Kerala police have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding Mr. Aji’s death, and there are calls for a wider inquiry into alleged abuse in RSS camps.
