‘Government Giving ‘Shiksha’ To Teachers Under Samagra Shiksha’
Panaji:
Will Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant explain if ₹7000 per month Salary for Pre-Primary Teachers under Samagra Shiksha is a Pagaar (Salary) or Punishment (Shiksha) for Teachers? BJP Government has multiple crores to spend on Events but no money to pay decent Salaries to hardworking Teachers, charged Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar.
Just two days back, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant had raised questions on Goa University ranking going down as well as less aspirants for GPSC examinations. If the teachers at pre-primary level which is foundation level of education are treated like this, how can we expect them to shape up future citizens? questioned Amarnath Panjikar.
Educational Sector is witnessing a downfall at all levels since BJP Government came to power in 2012. There are various issues of Teachers, Parents, Students and Management which have remained unresolved for last many years, pointed Amarnath Panjikar.
Safety and Security of Students is in danger with failure of the Government to conduct Safety Audits of Schools. Bad conditions of Bal Rath buses are risking the lives of Students. Despite incidents of collapse of School Roofs and accidents of Bal Rath buses, Government is not taking any steps, said Amarnath Panjikar.
Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) has become a burden on Teachers and School Management due to lack of proper facilities in place. Government is just busy making annoucement, said Amarnath Panjikar.
We hope that some better sense will prevail and Government will increase the Salary and also take steps to resolve issues faces by Teachers recruited under Samagra Shiksha, Amarnath Panjikar stated.
