This is shocking. My heartfelt sympathies to the Family of the innocent Girl Child who lost her life. Goa has become a Crime Destination with complete collapse of Law & Order. I demand stringent action on all the criminals, said Congress President Amit Patkar.

Rape & murder of a 5 year old child, Such shockingly disturbing incidents create a sense of insecurity and fear amongst the people and tarnishes the good name and image of Goa.
Such incidents mirrors a sad image of the Government being ineffective in dealing with the law and order situation which seems to be going out of hand each day.
Policing is not for going after Opposition Members but to Prevent Crime and Detect Crime.
