7th Edition of Daivadnya Cricket Cup 2025 Set to Kick Off in March

The Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association (AGDBYA) is set to host the 7th edition of the Daivadnya Cricket Cup 2025 on March 1st and 2nd at the S.A.G Cricket Ground, Fatorda. A total of 14 teams from across Goa, including two women’s teams, will compete in the tournament.

The official jersey launch for the event took place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Hotel Cosmique, Margao. The unveiling ceremony was graced by the tournament’s main sponsors, including Swaroop V. S. Raikar Jewellers (Margao), Lotlikars Jewellers (Mapusa), Sanvi Jewels (Margao), Ramakant Jewellers (Margao), Atreya Gold & Diamonds by Jayesh Jewellers (Bicholim), M/s. Saishradha Construction (Verem), Mr. Audumbar E. Pingulkar, and Hotel Cosmique (Margao).

The event saw the presence of team representatives, AGDBYA’s managing committee members, and media personnel. AGDBYA President Mrs. Seema Vernekar welcomed the guests and highlighted the association’s 15-year milestone, along with its social initiatives such as career guidance programs, health check-up camps, book distribution drives, and Children’s Day events.

The jerseys and caps for the tournament were officially revealed by the sponsors, while the trophies were unveiled by AGDBYA Secretary Mr. Sahil Lotliker and Treasurer Mr. Rahul Lotliker. The evening’s proceedings were compered by Mr. Pranay Vernekar, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sahil Lotliker.

With preparations in full swing, the Daivadnya Cricket Cup 2025 promises to be an exciting tournament, bringing together teams from across Goa for a spirited competition.
